OUR WEEK

Books we like to delve into are the Big Book, the Basic Text, Russell Brand's Recovery, Codependent No More, A Women's Way through the 12 Steps.

There is plenty of varied work or head to one of the seven institutes of higher education within 30 minutes of us, including Yale, UNH, and Southern Connecticut State University. 

Our area is it's own 12-step district. We also offer two meetings in-house. There are 4 rides to meetings from house. Step work with a sponsor is required.

We help you set up the recommended clinical services that are perfect for you. We know the area and can recommend expert clinical guidance. 

We offer a free gym membership, trails to hike, leisurely strolls through town or the beach, and bikes to borrow. Bring your own helmet please! The gym offers classes in barre, Pilates, core strength, and yoga.

We have three levels of horse activities. First is ground work. Next is riding lessons which is at your own expense. Finally, we offer insurance based equine therapy with Jody Rowell.   

We offer in-house coaching. We help with scheduling wellness, recovery and reuniting with family or friends. We help with making recovery-based choices as well as honing skills in relationships and interpersonal work skills. 

We offer family coaching via zoom. We help with setting healthy boundaries, supporting with love, how to teach decision making and slowing down life to a more natural and tolerable flow. Even if we have never touched a substance, yes, addiction effects us all. 

We have a game night, we celebrate someone's birthday, we go biking or hiking together. We find a clean and sober way to have fun together. We celebrate recovery anniversaries and belly-button birthdays. 

We take turns cooking for each other. It is our responsibility to shop, cook, serve, and clean up afterwards. It's one of the best parts of our day. 

Walk to the town library and use one of their private rooms for work. It's also possible to work from your room or office on the third floor.
