Our Sober House Services

Right Path House offers a range of services designed to support individuals on their recovery journey. We are here for their success, and our care navigator supports the individual by guiding our sober house members to combine what science says is evidence-based treatment and therapeutic interventions. That includes clinical support that we find in the surrounding clinical services, including Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs and individual clinicians specializing in addiction.

We don't stop there. We listen to the four pillars of recovery that the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration have determined through four decades of research that are necessary for recovery. They are (1) building a recovery community, (2) living in a supportive home (3) finding a sense of purpose and (4) a plan for wellness that includes mental and physical health.  The National Institute of Health and a recent Cochran Review have found that participating in12-step yields better results for abstinence that professional treatment only which is why we are 12-step based.

By design, we build a strong recovery community in-house by utilizing our recovery workshops, weekend activities, and family-style dinners. We're flexible and here to help house members. Our 12-step community is so populated that we have been deemed our own 12-step district. We host two meetings every week that very well-supported by the community.

Additionally, we offer wellness programs that are therapeutic, alternative interventions such as Reiki, equine therapy       , art, kayaking, biking, and a gym membership with Pilates, barre, and yoga.

The serene location in Madison, Connecticut, a popular destination for those seeking respite by the beach, is also a thriving town with a movie theater, book store, numerous coffee shops and restaurants and is also near two state parks. Clinton has a deep-water harbor and two seafood restaurants on the water. Here in Connecticut, Madison and Clinton, add to the healing atmosphere, making it an ideal place for personal growth and recovery.

On the beautiful Connecticut shore, we own and operate two gender-specific homes: a men's and a women's house in the towns of Clinton and Madison. In safe and comfortable sober houses, each offers a community where we get well and find purpose.
